Thai Basil Chicken
Ingredients
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 3 tbsp oyster sauce
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp fish sauce
- 3 tbsp sugar
- 1 red bell pepper, chopped
- 8 oz green beans
- 1 1/2 lbs chicken thighs, diced
- 4 shallots, sliced
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 Thai chilies, minced
- 1 cup Thai basil leaves, thinly sliced
Directions
- Heat oil in wok over high heat.
- Meanwhile, whisk oyster sauce, soy sauce, fish sauce, and sugar in small bowl.
- Add bell pepper and green beans to the wok.
- Stir-fry for 1 minute.
- Add chicken.
- Stir-fry until starting to brown, about 2 minutes.
- Stir in shallots, garlic, and Thai chilies.
- Cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Add prepared sauce.
- Cook until sauce glazes onto the meat, about 2 minutes.
- Stir in basil.
- Cooke until chicken is completely cooked, basil is wilted, and most of the liquid has evaporated.
Serve over Jasmine rice.
