Life
I am breaking my own rules today for a blog post (No Picture). A lot has happened in the last month but more on that later. Tonight I received news that one of my classmates who was a highway patrol officer was shot and killed after a traffic stop in Three Forks, MT. As some of you may know this is the fourth classmate I have lost, and it is not getting easier.
David was another one of those people who was just fun to be around. He was the quiet one in class and I will admit was my first crush growing up.
According to an article I found about the incident there have only been two other Highway Patrol Officers in the state of Montana killed while on duty, the last one in 1978.
At this time I don’t have the official confirmation that it was David but I still find it hard to process that I am saying goodbye to another person my age whom I grew up with. I know that he is with God but it is hard to process. David was my age, we went to school together, birthday parties, played basketball together and if I recall correctly, we went to the principal’s office together. All I can do is pray. Pray for his family, his girlfriend, our class, and anyone who knew David.
Please keep him in your prayers.
