Since we aren’t finding out the gender of our baby, I thought it would be fun to but some of the old wives tales to the test. One of the big ones I have heard from the get go is the heart rate.

• Over 140 = girl
• Under 140 = boy

According to this we are having a girl, as the heart rate has been about 150, 160 each time we have heard it. So the score is:
