It’s July?
Here it is, mid-July. I can’t believe how quickly time flies when you aren’t paying attention.
I was able to take one long day and meet up with Tyler down in the cities. We hit up the local theme park, Valley Fair.
It had been 6 years since I had been on a roller coaster and 10+ years since I had been to Valley Fair. I was really excited to see everything that had been changed.
Anyway, I show up in Minneapolis and we buy our tickets online. Turns out we have to print the tickets off, but we have no printer. We go out to eat brunch in the meantime.
At this point, my almighty smart phone loses its data connection. Luckily, there are some hotels connected to the IHOP where we are eating. Tyler has an epiphany and sends me off to use one of the hotels business center.
We say our goodbyes and head to the fair.
So many rides! We start walking around and getting on coasters. After we get off the second one (wild thing), it starts to rain! We keep walking around, waiting for the rain to stop.
We had a lot of fun, and it was nice to hang out with just Tyler. We don’t get to do that very often.
