From A to Z and everywhere in between

The month of June recap

The month of June is over and it is hard to believe that it is July already. This past month we have had many great days and some not so hot. I somehow managed to fall (for those of you who have known me a long time…this isn’t anything out of the ordinary) off the edge of the curb at Cashwise, scrape my knee, my hand and twist my ankle. After I did it, I gave myself a pep talk and tried to walk it off…that didn’t work. By the time I got back to the office it appeared as though I had a tennis ball taped to my ankle so I had Zach come and get me and headed to walk-in. They took x-rays and said it wasn’t broken; just badly sprained (WOOT)! So for the few days after that instance I had my ankle wrapped, in a splint and was on crutches. I have slowly weaned myself through different braces and now am brace free. For the most part it is back to normal, still a little swollen but going down.

Zach went on a cross-country adventure with Alex, Kautzman and Nick to meet up with a few friends we play games with. They met in Columbus, OH for RepCon 2. All reports lead to a good time and if anything from past RepCons held true at the last one, it was a good time. Zach got back on Monday and worked a long week to make up hours.

This winter I took up knitting and with having to have my ankle up and iced I have made quite the progress on my baby blanket. I do, however, desperately need another skein of “Green Bay Green” yarn. I got it at Walmart and I can only find it online, so if you can help out that would be great!

The next few months look as though they are going to fly by. We have plans already for most of the weekends between here and the end of summer. That, coupled with my ever growing belly, means it will be September before we know it!

One last thing, I have applied for a new position at my current company. My boss is leaving for a different department and I would love to have her job. So, whether you are a happy thought sender, a prayer, or whatever you do to get things you want, I would appreciate a little of that in my favor! THANKS!
