Originally my parents were going to come out for Easter…well the whole moving and having no place to live thing threw a wrench in that plan so William and I packed up and headed west the Monday after Easter. Around 3:30am William decided he couldn’t contain his excitement anymore and wanted to go see Nana and Papa. Luckily I had loaded the car except for the two of us so I strapped him in and we hit the road…3 minutes later he was out! But it made the car ride go great because he slept most of the way. When he would wake up we would stop on an on ramp, eat, new diaper and play for a bit before we continued down the road. We made record time and were able to meet Nana for lunch!

Our week back home was busy and eventful. We helped my mom a lot with the second annual dodgeball tournament and in our spare time assembled a quilt machine!! Oh yeah, and somewhere in there William and I both got the flu :-(. Overall it was a great week back and it was hard to go, hopefully it wont be long until we see each other again!

William loved the kitty and the kitty thought he was pretty entertaining. The kitty would walk up to William and if William started getting to grabby Socks would step just out of arms reach and only reach his head in enough to get a quick pet before retreating. William was quit sure what to think of Molly the dog and she was a little unsure of him too. By the end of the week they were ok with each other I just think Molly was a little to high strung for William.

Headed home. On our way home we waiting until William’s morning nap to get on the road. It didn’t work as well as 4am but I am not really wanting to do that again! William was ready to go and konked out almost right away. He made sure he had a good grip on his new giraffe from Jan and that Boyd the Bear (from Papa) wasn’t far away.
