What just didn’t work out this year?  Is that okay with you?  Or are you going to try, try again?

Is it ironic that when I think about failures in the past year I think about blogging…while I am writing on my blog?

This past year I really slacked at blogging and I am very disappointed that I didn’t do a better job. This past year as taught me a few things about blogging though:

• I need motivation. When William was born I committed to doing a project 365 (a picture a day for his first year). If I didn’t do it, there were people who would call me out on it. This also seems to be the case with the Reverb project. So next year (and next baby) I am once again going to try and do a project 365.
• It helps me relax. I have always liked writing and while I have tried to journal I usually end up throwing the towel in. It must be the fact that people read (or at least in my mind they do) my blog.
• It makes making my New Years card a lot easier. I like to look back at a year and find significant events that happened. Blogging makes that easy.

So here is to next year! May my pictures and posts be plenty next year!
