Did you go on an adventure in 2013?  What sort?

I like to think that every day with me is an adventure…and I am sure there are people (cough, Zach, cough) that would agree with that. The only big trip we went on this year was going to Montana to visit my family.

We were able to stay in Montana for a little over a week and it was great fun. William loved playing at Nana and Papa’s house.

Especially since Nana had a pool to play in.

And papa had REAL fire trucks!

While we were there we also took Zach to see the Lewis and Clark caverns. I remember going there a lot in high school but don’t ever remember the walk being as bad as it was (but to be fair I was never pregnant when I went in high school either…) So Zach was a trooper and carried William pretty much the entire way up, through and down.

Overall, the adventure was pleasant and it was fun to spend some time as a family. No, it isn’t sky diving or bungee jumping, but it was our family’s summer adventure and it was wonderful!
