Reverb 9: Suprise
What surprised you the most this year?
This post is a day late, but if you are an avid follower of my blog you should not be surprised by this!
This prompt asks what surprised you most this past year. I would say William continues to surprise me. Every day it seems he is saying or doing something that just amazes me!
It is hard for me to believe that at just two years of age the things he can do. He was so easy to potty train (let’s hope that sticks around after the baby comes). He is always surprising me with things he says. Just the other day he walked up to me and said, “Mommy, I love you…Hug please,” gave me a hug and went on his way. It is hard to imagine I can love something so little so much.
William’s imagination also surprises me on a daily basis. His newest thing to do is make “pizza” in the bath tub. This is a rather elaborate process that involves filling a bucket up with water and shovelling just the right amount of water into the bucket along with any foam letters (aka pepperoni) that may be lying around.
The amount of imagination he has on a daily basis is oh so impressive. Take this picture for example:
To most this appears to be a child riding his toy Harley with a toy container on his head. To William, he is a super rock star Harley rider with a helmet on.
I look forward to seeing what fun little surprises William has in store for me every day.
