At the start | Where did you start 2014?  Give us some background on this year.

For those of you unfamiliar with project reverb, here is some background information.

Now to answer the prompt, where did you start 2014.

I started 2014 on maternity leave. Just 11 short days before we rang in the New Year we welcomed little Mr. Owen into our family.

Looking back on the year, it is still a little hard to believe that we now have two little boys running around our house. Gosh we are blessed!

This year has brought a lot of fun times for us. When I returned from maternity leave in February I started as a Staff Trainer for Community Options. This was the same company I had been working for previously, just a different position. As cliché as it sounds, the summer flew by and was sprinkled with trips to the park, visits from nana and ‘digger men’ (aka construction workers…just in case you are not fluent in 3 year old speak) working on our roads.

Mid-September I started a new position as the Burleigh County 4-H/Youth Development agent for NDSU extension. It has been a thrilling ride so far and I can honestly say that I have a job that I enjoy and going to work is fun!
