I stayed home from work today to get ready for trip. I ran errands until afternoon. Came home and packed it all up in got most of it packed before i got the family and headed out of town. We got our traditional last day of school ice cream before heading to fort Lincoln for our first night.

We set up camp, roasted hotdogs, and made banana smore boats on the fire. William and Zach went it a ranger talk while Owen and i cleaned up camp and played some go fish.

When we were getting ready for bed i used my face wipe to wash Owens face and he thought it was the best thing ever. “MOM! My face feels so refreshed!” We walked to the bathroom and brushed our teeth for the night. We found the playground on the way back. Zach texted and said “Where did you go without Owen's shoes?” He had worn his sandels to the bathroom. Owen got a chuckle our of that.

Now Zach and William are at the bathroom and Owen and i are doing our nightly journals. It is suppose to rain tonight which will make testing down camp and hiking interesting.
