Day 3
We packed up camp today and headed into Sinclair to get gas. Funny enough, there was no gas station. So down the road we went.
A few hours into the drive we saw road signs for ‘Little America’ and their .75 cones. We decided we had to stop and check it out. We had good fun and the boys played on the playground to run off some energy. We had lunch before heading down the road.
Wyoming is flat…and boring. It was nice to have the change of scenery once we got to Utah. We made it to grandma's about 330. It was good to see her and give her hugs. The boys were excited about the water guns and started “washing” the car. Grandma decided that it would be better to have them use the hose so they gave the car a good rinse. Grandma and I sat in the porch and chatted while they “cleaned.”
We piled into grandma's car and went to the cemetery to visit grandpa's grave and water plants. It was the first time I had ever been there. After we got home we had some dinner. We walked down to a park down the road (wines park) and the boys had fun playing with the local kids.
When we got back it was showers/bath and bed. The boys were definitely tired.
