Today was the annual Bobcat Ice Cream social. I joined the social committee last year. I feel like I have done a pretty good job in directing the committee's efforts towards doing things people actually like.

I convinced the committee that adding JOMO as a corndog vendor and renting a cotton candy machine was a good idea. The only way they agreed to renting the machine was if they could find volunteers to run it. Having never made cotton candy before, I was the obvious choice.

It was a pretty fun time.

Amelia has been in Wisconsin all week for work, so I enlisted Ella's help in bringing the boys to the social. I got her some supper for her trouble.

Oh, I also gave her the biggest cotton candy I could make.

William had to go work lights at his play, but Owen stuck around with me to the end. Owen really liked the mixture of the three flavors we had: Pink Vanilla, Blue Raspberry, and Bubble Gum.

I got pretty good at making the cotton candy actually look like it should and we had a steady stream of people until we ran out of sticks to put it on.
